Sensor Cap care and Storage
- When the sensor is not in use, store the sensor in its storage cap filled with some water.
- If sensor cap has been dried out, please submerge the sensor cap in warm (about 40 -50⁰C) water for 48 hours.
- Do not expose sensor cap to direct sunlight. Keep the cap’s surface clean. Dirty or scratched cap will cause inaccurate reading.
Sensor Cleaning:
- Depending on water composition and bio-fouling, HydroNeo recommends sensor cleaning between once a day and once a week
- To clean DO membrane surface use tap water and a soft brush to gently to swipe off dirt.
- For persistent smudges, you may also use hand soap or dish washing detergent if necessary and gently wipe the surface with lens cleaning tissues that has been moistened with clean water.
- Do NOT use organic solvents such as acetone, toluene, etc. avoid alcohol as well to clean the sensor cap!
- Do NOT use chlorine-based cleaners!
